Storetail Services

Storetail is a France based tech company, that has been developing a technology that provide you, as a shopper, with an improved and personalized experience when you browse one of our Retail partner website, by showing you promoted products that match your purchasing habits. For instance, if you regularly purchase dog food, our tech has been built to anticipate that you would better enjoy your shopping experience if you see the latest pet food offer or brand-new dog product, rather than a random offer or new product that will not match your needs.

To do so, we use cookies with a pseudonymous ID (i.e. random characters), that allow us to better understand your activity on a specific web browser. Since we take data privacy very seriously, we DO NOT collect any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as name, age, sexual orientation, address, nationality, etc. In any case, and especially if you allow us to improve your shopping experience, please know that the privacy of your data have always been our highest priority.

We make our best efforts so that you can better manage your right to opt-out to from tracking technology providers. This does not mean that you will no longer see advertising and promoted products, but simply that it will not be personalized to your needs anymore. You can easily manage your consent regarding the use of your pseudonymous data directly on this page.

Besides, we have taken extensive technical and organizational measures to secure your data against potential risks, such as unauthorized login or access, unauthorized perusal, amendment or distribution, as well as against loss, deletion or misuse. In addition, in order to protect your data against unauthorized access by third parties when being transmitted, we secure data transmissions using SSL encryption. This is a standard encryption procedure for online services, particularly for the Internet.

Finally, and most importantly, we do not resell your data to third party company. Every single data we retain is exclusively stored in European Union. We retain your data: (i) As long as you have consented to this as part of processing, until you withdraw your consent, (ii) As long as we need the data to undertake an agreement, until the contractual relationship with you ceases or legal retention periods expire, (iii) As long as we use the data based on a legitimate interest, until your overriding interest obliges us to delete or anonymize them.
